Sarah Susanka is my own personal hero and Hawkin has, of course, made big waves, but I also really like the idea of bringing in a regional speaker. Bruce Millard sounds amazing! His website addresses some of the issues that Susanka highlights and because he knows our area, he'll (presumably) be able to relate to us and us to him better anyhow. So just to get the conversation started, I'm in favor of Millard.
Money & location?
Venue can have a big impact on attendance.
I like the idea of moving the Energy Star homes and green building movement if possible.
Mike Nelson of the Northwest Solar Center would be good
